Abstract

In June 2017 Wonosobo experienced inflation of 0.75 percent with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 125.97.
Inflation was caused by rising prices as indicated by the increase in index in the clothing category by 4.55 percent followed by the foodstuff category of 0.99 percent; transportation, communication and financial services group by 0,91 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.51 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group by 0.01 percent.
The commodities that make the biggest contribution to inflation are electricity tariff, kangkung, inter-city transportation, chicken meat, and onion.
